Description
The Seaward KD1E/33 is a neon HV potential indicator suitable for use on earthed neutral systems up to 33KV. A range of highly portable, neon and digital potential indicators. These instruments provide a means of confirming the presence of voltage on earthed neutral electrical circuits.
Conforming in design lengths to recommended, creepage and safety standards, the Seaward KD1E/33 series features high grade PVC tubing and incorporates totally encapsulated resistor chains.
The neon indicator is enclosed in a flexible transparent sleeve that prevents the transmission of any outside shocks to the glass envelope of the neon. A handguard in the form of a flange (neon type) on the handle section of the unit prevents the operators’ hands from straying towards the high voltage ends of the potential indicator.
